Our enchanting third duo enters the chat, Amal & Amaryllis!
About your instructors:
Amal is an upcoming Sudanese/Ugandan Urban Kiz dancer.
She started her dance journey in 2021, training with local kizomba and Urban Kiz teacherS as well as international Jesus y Anni, Audi & Laura and more.
Constantly growing, she followed the MetaKizz course.
She participated and ranked at various Jack & Jill competitions, performed at Unidos and has been assisting AND TEACHING dance classes at Kiz Motion.
Amal is the brain behind Kiz & Grooves fusionning Ginga & Grooves and Kiz Motion each month for a social event bringing together our Melbourne Kizomba & Urban Kiz community.
Amaryllis was born in France. She grew up in an Afro Caribbean culture, full of music and dance.
SHE started dancing very early various styles from modern jazz, hiphop, salsa, to dancehall and soca. She encountered kizomba, tarraxinha and ghetto zouk in high school and immediately fell in love with the music, slowly diving in the dance.
As she moved to Australia, Amaryllis furthered her dance journey even more, started teaching, continued performing many styles And created Ginga & grooves in 2017, a platform offering dance classes & perfomances designed to grow dancers and share afro caribbean cultures.
All are welcome, from starters to more experienced dancers, all age groups and genders will gain something from this workshop!
